While I respect General David Petraeus as a true military hero,I am concerned that he is ALSO PART OF THE "POLITICALLY CORRECT" GENERALS WHO TOTE THE PARTY LINE.
Why do I say this?
I recalled that when the Times Square bomber was arrested the administration was as-usual playing down the Taliban-Pakistan-Al Queda connection.General Petraeus was quoted as saying that the bomber was a "lone wolf".
After the facts started coming out, we heard nothing more from the General
However if you Google Petraeus and the Times Square Bomber,we find that he called him also a "lone bungler". and similar statements.
Thus without knowing the facts, he immediately backed up the administration.
